- June 21
“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men” (Romans 12:18). God calls us to actively pursue peace in our relationships, taking responsibility for our part. Although we can’t control others, we can reflect His character through our commitment to harmony.

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all” (Psalm 34:19). Difficulties, challenges, and persecutions are part of life, even for those who follow God. However, we can be confident that deliverance is certain; we can always trust in His faithfulness.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). We find our peace in Jesus—the Prince of Peace—not in the world or even in absence of trouble. His victory gives us confidence that no challenge we face is greater than His power.

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet” (Matthew 24:6). The world’s chaos shouldn’t shake our inner peace or confidence in God’s plan. Even when events seem alarming, we’re called to remain grounded and unafraid.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me” (John 14:1). Jesus calls us to anchor our hearts in faith rather than fear, even when life feels fearful and uncertain. Trusting Him brings supernatural peace that steadies us beyond what we can control.

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair” (2 Corinthians 4:8). While we may face pressure and uncertainty, we’re never without hope or strength in Christ. God sustains us in every circumstance, ensuring that hardship doesn’t have the final say.

“Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird” (Proverbs 1:17). Godly wisdom helps us recognize traps in life before we fall into them, if we’re willing to pay attention. God’s truth exposes deception so that we aren’t overtaken by what is clearly set against us.

“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet” (Psalm 8:4-6). God deeply values us; despite our imperfections, He chose to crown us with honor and give us responsibility over His creation. This reveals both our significance to Him and the authority He has entrusted to us.

“And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin” (Romans 14:23). Faith in God’s love, mercy, and compassion for us must guide our actions and decisions in every area of life. When we act outside of faith, we step into uncertainty instead of the assurance that comes from trusting Him.

“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1, NLT). Our position in Christ Jesus frees us from guilt and moves us out from under condemnation. This enables us to live confidently, led by the Spirit rather than burdened by shame.

“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise” (Proverbs 12:15, NKJV).
People who make their own decisions according to what they feel at the time will stumble through life making a series of bad choices. Conversely, those who seek godly counsel from others before making a decision are considered wise in God’s eyes.
March 24
“He who earnestly seeks good finds favor, but trouble will come to him who seeks evil” (Proverbs 11:27, NKJV).
God favors wise individuals who deliberately apply the principles of His Word to their lives, but not everyone has godly wisdom in this area. People who reject His instructions in favor of the world’s prevailing sentiment at the moment create their own problems in life.
March 23
“Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand” (Daniel 12:3, 10, NIV).
In the end times, the core of believers who continue to obey God’s Word will shine brightly in a spiritually dark world like a thousand-watt spotlight on a hill, and those who lead others to Christ will be blessed. God’s children will understand the wisdom contained in the Word, but the Scriptures won’t make sense to many others.
March 22
“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22, 23, NKJV).
When we minister to the lost souls God puts in our path, we must remember that when we bring them His Word, it’s the only thing saving them from perishing. God shows compassion and mercy for His lost sheep through us, when we reach out to others in trouble. The Good Shepherd faithfully watches over all of His sheep, and won’t let the enemy snatch even one of them out of His hand.
March 21
“[My] brethren, if anyone among you strays from the Truth and falls into error and another [person] brings him back [to God], let the [latter] one be sure that whoever turns a sinner from his evil course will save [that one’s] soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins [procure the pardon of the many sins committed by the convert]” (James 5:19, 20, AMPC).
Forgetting about God’s Word and His plans for our lives puts us in danger of the spiritual death lurking everywhere in the world. As believers, we have a responsibility to watch out for each other and rescue each other as needed.
March 20
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38, 39).
Life has a sneaky way of making us feel isolated and separated from our creator, but the Scriptures tell us God will never abandon us or leave us to fend for ourselves. No matter what comes at us or who sets themselves up against us, we’ll never be on our own. There’s no other love stronger or more powerful than the Father’s love.
March 19
“And he said, ‘My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest’” (Exodus 33:14).
God cares for us so much that He promises to accompany us on our journey through life, wherever we may go and in whatever situations we encounter. When we depend on Him, instead of on our own efforts, to safely deliver us, our spirits can rest in the knowledge that we’re well taken care of.
March 18
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20, NIV).
God has many ways of making His presence known. Jesus tells us that when we call on Him, He’ll be there. The manifestations of His presence don’t have to be loud or noisy; sometimes all we need to do is listen to that inner voice speaking to us, which is the Holy Spirit.
March 17
“The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17, NKJV).
God isn’t just some distant deity “out there” somewhere in the universe. He’s right here with us, and when we listen to His Spirit speaking to us, we find security, joy, and peace. He has promised to be with us always; we can depend on that promise, because His Word is truth.
